Court House / Galloway Township - The concern over the PARCC tests is deserved, but the underlying issue is the Common Core State Standards. PARCC is a Common Core assessment tool. No Common Core equals no PARCC. Despite the “everything is awesome” messaging by self-interested parties, Common Core is fraught with pitfalls, including unknown costs, unproven benefits and unending, “progressive” indoctrination. By accepting "race to the top" grant money, New Jersey sold out our kids, teachers, and school boards for $38 million. NJ should opt out of Common Core as other states have!
