The editor claimed that some beach related expenses are paid for out of the municipal budgets of beach towns. Why not all? Why do they need beach tags? The beach towns have the wealthiest residents of all and they are the ones that benefit most from tourism. So, all beach towns should pay for all of the beach related expenses out of their municipal budgets and not rip off tourists and residents alike to go on beaches built with their own tax dollars? If the beach towns don't like it, cut off all federal and state beach replenishment for them, and let their towns wash into the ocean.
