To the commentator who said: “…the Biden administration filed lawsuits against a half dozen of the largest oil producers in the US” his first week in office. Please show us where any substantiation of those lawsuits can be found, and why they were filed. In fact, federal data shows the Biden administration approved 3,557 permits for oil and gas drilling on public lands in its first year, far outpacing the Trump administration’s first-year total of 2,658. And hundreds of “unused” drilling permits predate Biden’s election by years. Were the oil companies omniscient, or just greedy?
