However, I prefer to live by another Epicurean derivative: “Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we may die.” As to the God/evil conundrum; if there is a deity, we are but an ant farm to them, long since forgotten about, and left to our own devices. After all, how long can a deity be enthralled by ants moving sand? Theologians conveniently ascribe evil to man’s “free will”, because if God prevented “evil”, we would also be deprived of free will. Like I said, “convenient”. Religion doesn't have to make sense, only "Faith" required.
