Lower Township

Council needs address concerns about the Deputy Managers compensation and oversight? The Deputy Manager received a $6,000 raise and a 3.5% COLA while the Town continues to contest less than $8,000 in retroactive pay for 4 clerks with increased duties, spending more on attorney fees than it would cost to resolve the issue. All other employees received retro pay.Despite waived property taxes and a $5,000 stipend for declining health insurance, the Dep Manager faced no increase in costs while others lost take home pay. Favoritism, micromanagement and declining morale raise serious concerns
