Construction for the school library? For a school considering a tuition model that could cost the district over $400K in state aid, they sure don’t seem too worried about money. If finances are supposedly that fragile, maybe the focus should be on long-term stability instead of projects that make it look like cash is endless. Eventually the well dries up, and taxpayers, and families are the ones left holding the bag. At this point, the school board president should seriously be facing calls for recall over this kind of reckless decision making and outrageous behavior.
