Why do most south jersey beach towns have politicians who major

Cold Spring - Why do most south jersey beach towns have politicians who major on the minor problems? Unfortunately for us that is why nothing of great significance is accomplished. The most obvious problems we all face is the over crowded conditions due to the over building for the past decade. It doesn’t help either that the zoning boards in most cases rubber stamped everything that passed over their decks. Now electric,water and sewer, insurance and taxes are all going up because nobody was watching the store!
