Cold Spring - For the past three months it has been quite noticeable that the Cold Spring cemetery, home to many veterans of our nation’s military, has been without the 6 military branch flags, even on veteran’s day last year. Just as concerning, the American flag, which used to be well maintained years back, is now torn and not even fully raised up the pole. Not only is it dishonoring to those veterans buried in the veterans’ section, but it is also a disservice to our nation and its history. Who is responsible for seeing that these flags are up?
