Cold Spring - If a child without a specific reading disability isn’t reading by the end of 2rd grade, he/she should be assigned a reading-immersive 3rd grade class where all subjects are taught but with a focus on reading. Grade 4 relies much more on subject area texts and non-readers fall further and further behind.
