I can't believe that Lower neighbors are fighting new senior hom

Cold Spring - I can't believe that Lower neighbors are fighting new senior homes to be built on vacant township land. This is a great project and long overdue. Senior housing does not cause taxes to rise because there are no children to educate and seniors tend to shop locally and frequent local restaurants. The real need is for housing that will entice older residents to sell their homes and move in. Many find private home upkeep hard and yet don't qualify for the low income housing in the area. There must be a happy medium. Is this it?
