Clermont - In response to the author of the Letter to the Editor claiming that the media is responsible for creating mass hysteria about Covid-19: what would be the media's end goal? What would the media have to gain by showing mass graves being dug in Brazil? What would the media have to gain by showing ICU's across the globe being overwhelmed with infected patients? What would the media have to gain by reporting how husbands, wives, sons, and daughters are dying alone? An increase in salary? Thirty minutes of fame? Over 100,000 people are dead. Or did the media just pull that number out of a hat?
