Middle Township and Police proposal for armed RETIRED SROs in our schools. I have the utmost respect for our active duty officers of Middle Township and would much prefer to have trained and fit officers present at our schools. With all due respect to our retired officers I feel that a Trained force of active officers would be much more effective (with proper training and rotation through different schools and environments) would be the best way to protect our children. What is the plan to train these officers?
