Clermont - Concerning the environment and a ruling defeating the gas pipeline, Van Drew and Andrzejczak were blasted in a Feb. 21 "Voice of the People" editorial regarding their public attempts to spearhead and "subvert the democratic process and encourage the violation of the comprehensive management plan for the pine barrens." CMC freeholders and Upper Township politicians have also passed resolutions to assist team Van Drew in politicizing and challenging the Pinelands Commission's "first and only obligation," which is to "protect, enhance and preserve the Pinelands."
