Cape May - Is your child required to use a Chromebook at school? Did you know Google is capturing data about your child's privacy? The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission against Google for collecting and data-mining school children’s personal information, including their Internet searches. EFF’s filing with the FTC also reveals that the administrative settings Google provides to schools allow students' personal information to be shared with third-party websites in violation of the Student Privacy Pledge. Ask your school about this! Demand answers!
