Cape May - Yielding to pedestrians in crosswalks doesn't mean that when a car is coming, and a pedestrian is approaching the crosswalk or is at the curb, that they have the right of way to step into the street. This is so misinterpreted! And, could everyone please realize that bikes obey the same laws as car drivers? Yes, be cautious, but don't yield to bikes if they are stopped at a stop sign when the car approaching has no stop. It leads to confusion and possible rear-end impacts when the car behind has to suddenly stop for no apparent reason.
