Why are Cape May police not wearing masks?

Cape May - Why are Cape May police not wearing masks? Shouldn’t they be setting an example for the tourists coming to our town? I have seen them waiting for takeout at the Westside, riding on their bicycles, and walking near the promenade, but never once wearing masks.
