When 2nd homeowners want to vote in local elections, what exactl

Cape May - When 2nd homeowners want to vote in local elections, what exactly do they want? Is it one vote per property (voter rolls don't work that way) or one vote for each member of their family, none of which live there? How about if I split the investment with another person, or multiple people, do we each get a vote? Their families too?
