What happened to the Christmas spirit in Cape May City?

Cape May - What happened to the Christmas spirit in Cape May City? Very few single homes were decorated this year and it looked rather dull out there. I think Rotary Park was beautiful and wish the rest of the town would've put some time into their homes. Congress Hall looked lovely but homes around it were cold and dark. I know so many are summer homes and summer rentals now, but honestly, couldn't they put a couple lights up for the rest of us? Interestingly, during the summer they claim to be locals but they sure don't show it in the winter season.
