What is with all the white and yellow traffic lines along Beach

Cape May - What is with all the white and yellow traffic lines along Beach Ave. in Cape May. It looks like a three-year-old was let loose with a can of paint and a roller. Car lanes? Golf cart lanes? E-bike and scooter lanes? Pedestrian lanes? Perhaps a lane for small aircraft. Geez! I thought Pittsburgh Ave. was bad, but this is ridiculous! Memorial Weekend will be the testing ground for this traffic experiment. Good luck!
