Cape May - We're approaching the two-year anniversary of Cape May's very own scandal - Bonus Gate, and it appears that nothing is going to be done to the recipients of the deceptive bonus payments or to the primary instigator/perpetrator. The so called remedy agreed to by city council, which conjured up some convoluted way to have the illicit funds repaid via sick pay and vacation time is a sham. The taxpayers of Cape May will have to pay back the COAH funds. This whole thing is an atrocity and the leaders of this city should be ashamed for allowing it to fester.
