Cape May - We saw pricier gas, clothing and car repairs in March 2024, due to continued high inflation. The costs of owning a vehicle also increased in March. Auto insurance rose 2.6%, which is up 22% from a year ago. Average auto repair costs increased 1.7% from February to March and are up 8.2% from a year earlier. And the price of gas to power most vehicles also increased.
