Cape May - Thousands of business were shuttered at the beginning of restrictions. Thousands of employees were instantly unemployed. The increased unemployment and bans on evictions kept thousands of people alive. Now, the businesses are open, but nobody wants to work. People don’t want to pay rents to landlords who depend on that income to live. More and more money is being spent on recreation and luxuries by unemployed people and lots of them are content to stay home, live for free and spend money on having a good time. Great job Trump and Biden. You threw out the baby with the bath water.
