Cape May - Spouter from Fishing Creek: I vaguely remember Going Home being filmed in Cape May, I was just a little kid, but I remember better the one that was filmed here in 1980-81 called The Prowler. Except for one scene in the gazebo at the county park, it was filmed entirely in Cape May, mostly at the Physick Estate, The Crilly Estate (now Southern Mansion), and at The Colonial (now Inn of Cape May) where a girl was murdered in their pool. Farley Granger was sheriff. In the morning announcements at the high school they asked anyone interested in being an extra for the school dance scene to show up.
