Sure, people voted in favor; however, I am sure that the overwhelming number of these votes came from people with little to no ties to our area. These are the same people who will work hard to turn everything upside down in their favor, then move on to a warmer climate, while leaving those of us who will continue to call this home to deal, and to send another generation of kids through our schools to suffer.
