Cape May - Some recent spouts show that lots of folks apparently do not understand how the Electoral College works. They also fail to realize that the world at the time the Constitution was ratified was drastically different from our world today. The founding fathers lived a completely different social, religious and political life. They did not plan or design the two-party system, it evolved with Constitutional parameters. Maybe if folks studied history instead of getting their history lesson from politically-slanted websites they would have a different outlook.
