Cape May - As a small business owner, I agree with the Stone Harbor spouter who cautioned hiring a handyman without a license and insurance. I have to pay for my license and my insurance premium, so I may be a little more expensive. If you hire someone without a license and insurance, and just a hammer and paint brush, you'll regret it if they get hurt on your property. They will be looking at your homeowner's insurance. Good luck explaining to your insurance company that you hired an unlicensed and uninsured contractor to work on your home.
