Cape May - Retired police sergeant Rusty Chew has certainly managed to uphold the integrity and leadership needed to navigate the rigors of community evolution, liberation, i.e., change. Such is a task that many are called but few are chosen. Chew initiated a mayoral campaign as Democrat candidate to mayor a few years ago. Albeit by only a few votes the incumbent mayor won that election, needless to mention that election went uncontested. Chew has done so much good for the city, most especially by making certain whether he is mayor or resident he remains proactive in the ongoing prosperity of Cape May.
