Cape May - In response to the editor's note to my post, I am fully aware that in most cases city business is public business. I am a firm believer in open government. What I was referring to was the conversations at Wawa referring to litigation that the city's involved in and closed sessions which are not for public knowledge. It was known weeks before whom the city manager was. You can get daily updates on the police chief lawsuit who's in deposition along with other suits the city is involved in. I don't think this is ethical for a sitting council person to be discussing at the local Wawa.
