Cape May - Residents and taxpayers need to visit the west side of the city, Grant, Congress, Windsor, and North and see the change. The old contributing cottages on narrow streets are being replaced by large two-story houses lacking yards, driveways, storm drainage, parking and privacy. This is more negative change in our character and "our historic community." City Council, Historic Preservation Commission, Planning Board and code officers need to take control.
