Cape May - The recap of the CM Police ligation that occurred in the past 6 years was both illuminating and alarming. I believe the current mayor was accused of abusing conditions of his contract and negotiated out a settlement. To then be elected as the mayor and to see the lack of leadership and competency in the role should make each resident seriously consider what the future leadership of this City should be. The recent passing of a budget with no identified revenue to support expenses should be a wake up call. Residents will be forced to cover the deficits through increased taxes-don’t think otherwise.
