Cape May - Re: additional Open Space funding for the Lafayette Street Park, it's a great idea on paper. We do not need a bocce ball court. The baseball field hasn't been used in many years. Turn that into a skate park of some sort. That playground needs shade and I do not mean those dead trees. It is not fun playing out there in the heat for visitors, let alone the school children. A fountain is not needed. If the dogs can get a hose and shade, so should the playground.
