Cape May - The opposition group to Cape May’s prior administration was successfully led by the Hendricks, but not without cost to the taxpayers. The city had to pay $40,000 to settle a lawsuit filed by a non New Jersey resident who was brought in to help the group. Now, they want the city to ante up thousands of dollars to support Concerned Citizens of Cape May re: preservation of the Sewell Tract. How much more are these people going to be allowed to cost the city? The council should turn this down flat.
