Cape May - Many guests to Cape May have said to me they receive free beach tags from their hotels, resorts, or inn keepers, in spite of the prohibition against this practice and a stiff fine for every violation, but Cape May appears not to be enforcing this rule. For those places following the rules, I wish to thank you for helping to offset the expense of additional police, the presence of beach patrol, beach care/cleaning, sanitation and upkeep of the public restrooms.
