Cape May - The loud, jarring announcements made on the Cape May promenade are absolutely ridiculous! They do nothing but mar the tranquil beach atmosphere that vacationers seek. People napping on the beach are woken up, and everyone looks annoyed when another irrelevant announcement is broadcast. If there is lightening spotted, the lifeguards are there to warn beach goers.
We do not need this tacky and bothersome practice in our historic town.
