Cape May - Just came back from a trip to comfort a friend. Her grandson is on a respirator from going into respiratory failure. He had a severe asthma attack from vaping, the new teen craze. His mom and doctor thought his asthma was a thing of the past as he hadn't had an asthma attack in three years. For some reason kids think vaping is safe. He was deprived of oxygen and suffered from the effects of this. He went from a healthy, active kid to a kid that may not be the same again. The mom is blaming herself because she knew he was vaping and thought it was better than smoking cigarettes. More education is needed.
