Cape May - July 4 Bike Parade - for years, Wonderwoman has entertained us. But let's remember she is a person. And like all of us, she is getting older. It was clear this year she was struggling in the heat yet no one thought to get her water. She was also very legitimately upset that the convertible in the parade behind her passed her - I saw it happen, recklessly within 10 inches of hitting her. As a community, let's re-think how we look at Wonderwoman and show her respect you would want for you or your children. Consider getting her a vehicle to ride on and water for her safety.
