Cape May - It's too bad the city did not consult the Cove neighbors and beach goers before they drew up the Cove Street end road configuration. The street end traffic area will be condensed. No more will you be able to offload your beach gear near the street end. The new bollards are being placed too far east of the old barricade. Surfers will no longer be able to drive up and check out the surf. Kayakers will not be able to offload near the beach access opening. Emergency vehicles will have a tough time entering the beach. What a shame! No one was consulted!
