It is truly sad what the quaint beautiful shore towns we grew up

Cape May - It is truly sad what the quaint beautiful shore towns we grew up in and love have become! The "new locals" with overbuilt homes and "in crowd" vehicles! There towns use to be filled with people who appreciated the quaintness and beauty of the coast. We lived in modest small homes-more content with the beauty of the coast and no desire to impress others. The current inhabitants are concerned with impressing each other - all owning the latest vehicles and biggest homes. So sad for us - but I feel more sad for the those that participate in the " I am better than you" mentality!
