Cape May - It is time to move the National Memorial Day Event back into the Convention Hall, where honor, dignity, pomp and circumstance can be presented. On 5-27-24 the Soldiers & Sailors Event management was without a defined purpose, the public address system was inferior, speeches were duplications, youth not included, the large crowd was basically excluded, however the US Coast Guard provided outstanding presentation. The most disappointing was the lack of current and past military, VFW & Legion members and their families being included and recognized.
