Cape May - I spouted the truth behind the Confederate flag and someone replied that he does not want "his" tax money spent to fly a flag that flew against U.S. soldiers. First of all, I am sure that comment did not come from someone who lives in South Carolina. Also, the U.S. invaded states that had legally left the Union, and the Confederate soldiers were Americans who had fought for the freedom of their states from Great Britain. Unfortunately, the winners get to write history and most of you northerners only get the revisionist version. Southerners are not a bunch of racist Forrest Gumps.
