Cape May - I had to shake my head at the editor’s response to a Del Haven spouter who wrote about the used sanitary pad in the street. Any used sanitary item, much less a pad that has been lying out in the street for who knows how long, is a breeding ground for harmful bacteria. No one going about their daily business, especially with a 3-year old in tow, is equipped to dispose of such an item. If anything, the spouter set a good example by calling public works instead of just going on their way. Would you want your child or grandchild picking up such an item?
