Cape May - I believe that anyone convicted of a crime but who is not put in jail, and only gets a fine or probation, should be made to do some type of community clean-up work as an alternative to a cash fine. There are so many areas that could benefit from a trash clean-up, so why not let criminals pay off their debts this way? The county can get a few buses and each weekend have a specific amount of "pickers" sent out to clean a specific area under supervision.
