Cape May - I am sorry for the North Wildwood spouter whose wife was frightened by the dog on the beach. Although I am a lifelong animal lover, several bad experiences with aggressive dogs have left me wary. Many owners have no consideration for others who don’t want a strange dog in their faces. People are bitten all the time by supposedly friendly dogs; having an owner tell you their dog ‘won’t bite’ is meaningless. If you can’t control your dog, you are not fit to own one. Have your pet, and yourself, properly trained before you go out in public.
