I am so over the Cape May County Herald publishing pending crime

Cape May - I am so over the Cape May County Herald publishing pending crimes, it's slanderous and it ruins the reputation of so many people trying to make a name for themselves. These crimes have not even been tried, the person hasn't been indicted yet, why is it in the paper then? I thought it was innocent until proven guilty? Not in the eyes of the Herald, I guess. These stories like DUI and minor possession would never make it in the newspapers in larger cities, but because it's a small town paper we consider that "news." It spews hate and judgment toward those being accused. This needs to change.
