Cape May - I am reading about the surf zone sharp drop-offs and the dangers associated with it. What is not mentioned is the money that is involved. The city gets the federal government to pump the beaches with the feds paying like 90% of the costs. We are talking about millions of dollars. No way is the city going to turn down that money. The best the consumer can do is know the inherent dangers that are involved. Swim and surf at your own risk.
