Cape May - I agree that looters have been conditioned to no repercussions for stealing. For so many years, they have faced no consequences, so why would they not take advantage of our lax laws and help themselves to whatever they would like. Most businesses also have a very strict do not confront and look the other way policy, so they are also complicit. Prosecutors and businesses got exactly what was expected, a generation that was conditioned to not respecting authority. Good luck putting the genie back in the bottle.
