I’m shocked that Cape May was going to make people pay for bench

Cape May - I’m shocked that Cape May was going to make people pay for benches on the promenade that they already paid for. The benches are in pristine condition considering that they have been out in the weather for almost 15 years, and they are certainly in better shape than the pavilion structure at the cove and most of the surface of the promenade. I paid $900 for a bench mainly because at the time there was an ocean view. I wouldn’t reinvest another $1,416 for a view of reeds, weeds, bushes and trees and no ocean view. That’s why nobody uses the benches on the promenade--there’s no view.
