Cape May - How can the mayor of Cape May expect his fellow council members to vote his way for projects, ordinances and resolutions if he doesn't communicate with them? 3-2 works most of the time, but if a town needs to bond, one better make nice with the minority members of council. If the town doesn't get a "yes" vote by one of them: no money, no project. It's better to play nice and get consensus, or at least compromise, than shoving an agenda down one's throat. That new wave of transparency after the 2016 election crashed and burned quickly.
