Cape May - Has anyone noticed more cars with handicap placards parked on the mall since parking went to $2? It seems to me that more mall workers are using handicap placards to park free. I know many people who have no limits in mobility who use handicap placards. I believe the entire handicap parking program should be revamped. Cape May can start by charging everyone to park. It's one thing to designate handicap parking spaces, but there's no reason a handicapped person shouldn't pay just as they pay for everything else. This may reduce the number of frivolous handicap placards.
