Cape May - As an engineer, I giggle at hearing people say we should all switch to electric cars. Well there are several problems with that. Most power companies use/burn some kind of fossil fuel to produce electricity, next think of the millions of miles of more power lines that will need to be run for charging systems and they are made from what? "Raw materials." What happens when your batteries die on the highway while stuck in traffic? If you had to charge your car every day at your home, your average electric bill would go up, not to mention just installing the service. You ready?
